Katherine Waddell

Katherine Waddell is an actress, movie producer, and the co-owner of First Bloom Films, a female-focused, kindness-forward production company based in Los Angeles. She produced and starred in First Bloom Films’ first feature, BALLOON ANIMAL, which earned twelve awards at national and international film festivals. She appeared in and was a co-executive producer for the acclaimed indie feature DINNER IN AMERICA, which premiered at Sundance Film Festival. She was an executive producer on the horror film WE NEED TO DO SOMETHING, a Tribeca Film Festival’s 2021 selection, and on the animated adventure comedy, THE INVENTOR, starring Marion Cotillard, Daisy Ridley and Stephen Fry. Katherine is in development on four new projects under First Bloom Films.
