Mara McCann

Mara McCann is a producer, actress, entrepreneur, expert strategist and start-up advisor. As an actress, she has upcoming roles in films and series, including a new pilot with Parks and Recs actor, Jim O’Heir, and a leading role in a thriller with a two-time Emmy-winning production company. She is also producing projects with Emmy-award-winning and Oscar-nominated development teams. Mara is an advisor at SXSW Tech Pitch Fest, and Founder of Zhive Media, a media resource hub for Gen Z girls + thems. She has coordinated numerous film and tech events from Sundance to Tribeca Film Fest, and received grants from organizations that include the NEA, NEH and Third Wave Foundation of New York. Previously she was on the strategic development team at one of the top innovation labs in New York.
